F.F.B.R.I. Celebrating and Preserving Bolivia’s Cultural Heritage
Fraternidad Folklorica Boliviana was founded 32 years ago in 1993, it started with 10 dancers and today we count with
approximately 250 members. Our roster includes children and young adults of all ages, races and nationalities that, without forgetting their own races and being moved by the magic and beauty of our dances, have assisted us in maintaining alive our inherited culture which is our cultural patrimony left by our ancestors.
FFB starts dance practices every year in the month of March and end in October of every year.
Furthermore and aside from the traditions, the importance of FFB exists in providing our youths an alternative to the negative temptations found in our city streets, instilling instead the values ofrespect, friendship, responsibility and discipline. Many of our dancers and ex-dancers are now professionals successful in their
respective fields and this motivates us to continue working to help with the formation of future successful
citizens.
